Developing future leadership for world evangelization—motivating leadership for evangelism, equipping, mentoring and training.

The expected outcomes of the work done on this issue were:

1. A challenge to experienced Christians including denominational leaders to identify, motivate, mentor and train emerging leaders. Indicate ways of doing this and of providing opportunities for potential leaders to exercise their gifts.
2. Identify ways in which denominations, mission agencies and Christian service organisations could actively recognise and energetically develop emerging leaders.
3. Comment on ways in which leadership can be transferred between generations and South/North: (leadership, economic and spiritual resources).
