His love of cultural diversity comes partly from years of working with international students. He has been the European Evangelical Alliance's (EEA) General Secretary since April 1999.Gordon and his wife Jane have two adult ‘children', and an extended and growing wider family circle. Jane's specialities include personality profiling, team building, career advice, and teaching. She is also a lay magistrate. Gordon's vision for the EEA includes a burden to see visionary and representative national Alliances with the capacity to create non-partisan space for relationship building, a neutral platform for common action, and a representative voice for evangelicalism.
