How can you make Cape Town 2010 your Congress?

We ask that you consider assisting in the following four ways:

Pray

+ be a friend
Pray that God will work in the hearts of Lausanne leaders and in the heart of our world. Pray that God will guide the Congress leadership. Pray that God would draw many people to himself as individual Christians reach out to others with the Gospel of Christ before, during, and after the Congress.

Study

+ deepen your insight
The Lausanne Covenant provides a wonderful tool which you can use in your Bible study groups, churches and respective ministries. Consider using it as a study tool. We will give you a proposed method in this toolkit.

Give

+ enable many participants to attend
Cape Town 2010 is funded by the donations of people like you who want to see the Good News of Jesus Christ proclaimed around the world. The financial gifts to Cape Town 2010 should be over and above usual giving to our churches. The operating budget will be set by the Congress committee and an audit made available. The gift form in this Toolkit is designed for individual gifts and to encourage others to give.

Recruit

+ encourage others to get involved
The Cape Town 2010 Congress seeks to mobilise and engage the talents of Christians around the world. People from all walks of life and with all giftings are needed to help organise the Congress and expand its network. Cape Town 2010 provides a means through which you can use the talents and experiences God has given you and help identify and encourage many others to offer their skills leading up to and during the Congress itself. Help is needed in the following areas: participant selection, communications, programme, intercession, fundraising, arrangements, participant services, mission, global involvement, information technology and administration.
