Welcome from Dr. Jim Tebbe The Lausanne Region of North America includes the United States and Canada. In our Region there is a strong and growing felt need for Lausanne. We can better address the burning spiritual, theological and social issues facing us in North America by working together. Many find Lausanne an opportunity to interact with other churches and Christian organizations that they would not normally have a chance to meet. The broader perspective offered through this Lausanne forum gives both hope and practical help as we seek together the evangelization of North America. We invite you to interact with us and send us information about what you and your organization are doing.As the IDD for Lausanne I seek to hear from a broad spectrum of Evangelicals concerning what theological, ethical/social, and strategic issues they face as they work to carry out the Great Commission in world evangelization. This involves relating to the Lausanne Committees in Canada and the US, talking with a Regional Advisory team through a monthly telephone conference call, and networking with different Evangelical constituencies. I take North American issues and pass them on to Lausanne International for consideration and pass Lausanne International issues to North American constituencies for their input, all with a view to making Lausanne III a world changing Congress.
