Lausanne Senior Associate for the Study of Global Christianity

 

I hope to connect Lausanne to the resources of the Center for the Study of Global Christianity at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. The Center’s mission is to collate, analyze, and make sense of the massive amount of data on church membership and evangelistic activities collected by 37,000 Christian denominations in all 238 countries. This analysis is then put in context of the status of other world religions and secular demographic data to provide an authoritative view of global Christianity. The Center will also host students, researchers, scholars, journalists and missionaries who want to research a specific area within global Christianity. A further aim is to apply the research of the Center in assisting churches in their strategic planning.
