The Regional Prayer Focus for this month is ASIA

SUNDAY 1ST  Ephesians 3:”14 For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, 15 from whom every familyin heaven and on earth takes its name. 16 I pray that, according to the riches of his glory, he may grant that you may be strengthened in your inner being with power through his Spirit, 17 and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, as you are being rooted and grounded in love. 18 I pray that you may have the power to comprehend, with all the saints, what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 19 and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. 20 Now to him who by the power at work within us is able to accomplish abundantly far more than all we can ask or imagine, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”

May we live each day being shaped by his word. – Pray for the body of Christ in China.

MONDAY 2ND  Pray for those preparing the CT2010 morning Plenary Sessions which will help all the participants to engage with Ephesians over the week.  May God speak afresh to each participant from His word and may they be empowered by his Spirit to respond as he desires for today’s Church. Pray for the body of Christ in East China.

TUESDAY 3RD  Pray that The Lausanne Movement would continually and faithfully serve the Church today.  May CT2010 be used by God to awaken, inspire, and renew  the Whole Church taking the Whole Gospel to the Whole World for the Glory of God.  Pray God will use this Congress to further extend his kingdom. - Pray for the body of Christ in North China.

WEDNESDAY 4TH  We praise God for the prayerful dependence on the Lord by the whole Congress team.  Give God thanks for the godly men and women who have committed everything to him in these four years of planning.  Pray for the body of Christ in South Central China.

THURSDAY 5TH  Thank God for: The 9 speakers for the Resource Mobilisation Working Group Multiplex Session – from 8 countries and 7 regions of the world; For spiritual depth in the presentations that we are receiving;  for an enthusiasm and expectation amongst those involved in the organising of the Multiplex and Dialogue Sessions so that God can do something special during the sessions. Pray for the body of Christ in Northeast China.

FRIDAY 6TH  Pray for the Congress Team as they seek to communicate with each other across culture , minimising the possibility of misunderstandings.  Pray for a growing sense of unity and joy in our working relationships.  Pray for the body of Christ in Southwest China.

SATURDAY 7TH  Praise God for those who have committed to financially support the Congress. We especially praise God for the sponsorship of those coming from developing nations.  Give God thanks for all he has raised and brought forth from his people.  Pray for your family and friends who do not yet know Jesus.   Pray for the body of Christ in Macao.

SUNDAY 8TH  Pray for the Bible/Theological schools in Asia.  Ask God to continue to raise up Godly leadership of these colleges, be it principals, lecturers and/or staff so that they would continue the work of faithfully training others in the word of God.  Pray for the body of Christ in Beijing.

MONDAY 9TH  Pray for the transport of all that needs to get to Cape Town over the next 60 days.  Pray for the safe arrival and the speedy process through customs.  Pray for the body of Christ in Shanghai.

TUESDAY 10TH  Praise God for the privilege it is to glorify his Name.  Pray for Christian Aid agencies as they seek to serve the poor and needy in our world.  Pray for  Christian Aid agencies you know of that work in Asia.for the Christian witness they have amongst the communities.  Pray for the body of Christ in Hong Kong.

WEDNESDAY 11TH  Pray for those who demonstrate and proclaim Christ through missionary agencies working in the region of Asia.  Pray for anyone you know who glorifies Christ in this way.  Pray for the body of Christ in Tianjin .

THURSDAY 12TH  Pray for the streamlining and flow of the Multiplex Sessions for the Congress - especially so that the different speakers will give one coherent message within each session; pray for the videos that will be shot during the next 2 months - those involved need guidance and creativity in how to do it best; pray for the travelling and accommodation arrangements for the participants and Session Leaders. Pray for the body of Christ in Wuhan .

FRIDAY 13TH  Mission Africa: Praise God for the 31,000 in attendance at the mission in the Congo and the 9,000 at the mission in Kenya. Praise God for the clear proclamation of Jesus Christ.  Praise God for the many who responded to the gospel, the good news of Jesus Christ.  Pray for the current mission in Ethiopia today and the next few days.  Ask God to continue to call people to repentance and faith during this time.  Pray for the body of Christ in Guangzhou.

SATURDAY 14TH  Pray for those in your local neighbourhood and on your street.  Ask God to show you how to best share Christ in your local community this coming year. Pray for Shenyang, Chongqing .

SUNDAY 15TH  Pray for women around the world who are working in the cause of sharing Jesus Christ.  Pray for the women participants at the Congress, for funding, favor, and traveling mercies.  Pray for the women speakers for the Congress, that they would know God's joy and fullness as they prepare and speak.  Pray for the women who are on Lausanne’s leadership and staff, for strength, wisdom, and protection.  Pray for the body of Christ in Harbin and Nanjing

MONDAY 16TH  Pray for those who are preparing the prayers to be shared amongst the participants at the Congress over the week.  Pray for them as they seek God’s thoughts and words so that together all God’s people gathered can say a loud “Amen” together.  Pray for the body of Christ in Mongolia.

TUESDAY 17th  Praise God for those with the gifts of advocacy and those who can act as Agents of Justice.  Ask God to bring truth to bear in the face of injustice and that his ways would be sovereign, may his will be done as it is in heaven.  Pray for the body of Christ in Arkhangai, Bayan-Algii, provinces of Mongolia.

WEDNESDAY 18TH  Praise God for the many creative art agencies he has brought into the Congress planning team.  Pray for the opening and closing ceremony, the musicians, drama, dance and film artists as they seek to glorify God with their incredible gifts and talents.  Pray for the body of Christ in Dornod, Darkhan-Uul, Mongolia.

THURSDAY 19TH  Pray for those who are a Christian witness in the areas of Government, legal and medical fields.  Pray for their daily decisions that can impact those around them and for the opportunities to glorify God in word and deed.  Pray for the body of Christ in Damogov, Domod, Mongolia.

FRIDAY 20TH  Pray for those in Asia who are persecuted for their faith.  Pray for those who are imprisoned and those families who are left without support.  Pray for the persecuted church.  Pray for the body of Christ in Govi-Alta, Dundgov, Mongolia.

SATURDAY 21ST  At the last Lausanne Congress (Manila, 1989) the church awakened to the concept of Unreached People Groups.  Pray God will raise up a great call to reach the still unreached in this generation.  Pray for the body of Christ in Khenti, Govisumber, Mongolia.

SUNDAY 22ND  Mission Africa: Pray for the missions being held in Rwanda and South Africa.  May God pour out his Holy Spirit and call people to repentance and faith during this week of proclamation.  Pray for the raising up of future Church leaders and that those who respond will be effectively discipled. – Pray for the body of Christ in Khovsgo, Khovo .

MONDAY 23RD  Praise God for the young church in Mongolia and the incredible capacity it has to send people out to the mission field.  Praise God for the many children and youth who are coming to faith.  Pray for the church to continue to catch the vision for the spiritual formation of children.  Pray for children who are at risk, physically, emotionally spiritually and mentally when the local church does not act on their behalf.   Pray for the body of Christ in Orkhon, Omnogov .

TUESDAY 24TH  Pray for those who are impacted by climate change.  Pray for the displaced communities and nations where the rising sea levels are eroding their shores and homes.  Pray for those who  lack understanding in environmental issues, ask God to raise up a great wave of Christians who want to set standards of excellence in the stewardship of this earth and all its resources.  Pray for the body of Christ in Selenge, Ovorkhangai .

WEDNESDAY 25TH  Pray for those who are Messianic Jews.  Pray for the critical witness and calling to share Jesus as Messiah to those awaiting the “Christ”.  Praise God for the Lausanne Consultation on Jewish Evangelism that seeks to witness to those of a Jewish tradition.  Pray for the body of Christ in Tov, Sukhbaatar .

THURSDAY 26TH  Pray for those individuals throughout the world who have been asked to provide finance for one or more participants and who have not yet responded.  Pray that God will touch the hearts of those who are considering such requests so that all who have been invited will be able to attend.  Pray for the body of Christ in Zavkhan .

FRIDAY 27TH  Praise God that he has promised to return.  Pray that we who wait will be faithful, that we will live as wise followers of Christ and make the most of every opportunity, until Christ’s return.  Pray for the body of Christ in Uvs .

SATURDAY 28TH  Pray that all involved in the Congress will take their stand, in prayer, against the devil’s schemes.  Pray for discernment and alertness to any devices of the evil one to undermine what God is seeking to do in and through each person as our battle is not against flesh and blood.  Pray for the body of Christ in Taiwan.

SUNDAY 29TH  Pray for the out-pouring of God’s Spirit and for spiritual renewal amongst his people gathered in Cape Town and in each of the GlobaLink sites.  Pray for the body of Christ in Fukhien Province.

MONDAY/TUESDAY 30TH/31ST  Pray for a radical and continuous Church planting surge to impact the Church so that every nation and tongue and local community will have a place to worship Christ.  Pray for the body of Christ in Kaohsiung,  Taipei, Taiwan.
