TUESDAY 1ST   “God has placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way” Eph 1:22-23.  Over this Christmas season, as we reflect on our incarnational God who tabernacles with us in Christ, may God be praised and honoured by the prayers we submit to him.

WEDNESDAY 2ND  Pray for the next generation of children. Ask God to strengthen marriages and family life. Ask God to extend his fatherly love through his people to the millions of orphans and fatherless around our globe.

THURSDAY 3RD   Pray for God to raise up and equip the next generation of leaders. Pray that he will give wisdom, faith and discernment to current leaders in every culture, to know how and when to begin to empower and release the next generation of leaders into significant ministry. Ask God to give Lausanne leadership that same courage and wisdom to recognise and mentor the emerging leaders in Lausanne.

FRIDAY 4TH  Some of our Lausanne and WEA leadership have loved ones who are very sick. Ask God to heal and restore those who are ill.

SATURDAY 5TH   Pray for a deepening sense of unity among the people of God. God is moving in some amazing ways as denominations and Christian churches build partnerships that had not existed before. May we experience a deeper sense of Christ-centred unity with each other - unity in great diversity under the Lordship of Christ.

SUNDAY 6TH    Pray for local churches that they may become a source of light and love to their communities. Pray for your local Pastor today as he/she expounds the word of God. The Lausanne Strategy Working Group want us to keep praying for churches to multiply so that everyone has access to a church in their neighbourhood and in their cultural context.

Ask God to do more then we could ever imagine through this document to stir the Body of Christ for the mission of God and in our God-given task of loving and living in this world.

FRIDAY 18TH  “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
