Volunteer for Cape Town 2010

Thank you for your interest in Volunteering at Cape Town 2010!

Why volunteer?

As with past Lausanne Congresses (1974 in Switzerland and 1989 in the Philippines), we are seeking volunteers from around the world to serve the Congress and help in all aspects of the work.  Volunteers play a significant role in the Congress by volunteering their time, talents, and abilities.  Volunteer duties include assisting the staff with administration support, communication of information, coordination of projects, I.T. support, and translation to name just a few. What can I expect to experience?

Cape Town 2010 offers you an unprecedented opportunity to meet believers who are on “the front lines” of ministry serving the Lord in other parts of the world and in different cultures.  We believe the friendships you’ll develop with staff, participants and other volunteers, the ability to network with other believers who share your passion to make a difference in the world, the opportunity to pray with, serve and learn with others will significantly enrich your own life and ministry.

As a volunteer you may also be able to participate in several aspects of the overall Congress, such as sharing in rich times of prayer and worship, hearing compelling reports from other believers and taking part in Bible studies that will challenge you and draw you closer to Christ.
