What is a biblical understanding of Satan and his demons, spiritual warfare, and the existence of evil? Thirty diverse leaders gathered in Nairobi in 2000 and released this thorough and nuanced statement on what spiritual conflict is and what it is not, calling upon churches in the West in particular ‘to listen more carefully to the churches in the Two Thirds World’. It is only together that we can move toward a serious rediscovery of spiritual conflict in the context of God’s global mission–and toward deeper worship of the One who has triumphed over evil.
