Prayer Call

Now more than ever is the time to connect the global body of Christ for global mission, especially for prayer. The Lausanne Movement will host its next Lausanne Global Intercessory Prayer Call on 26 May at 08.00 EDT (see all time zones).

On this call, the region Middle East and North Africa (MENA) will be praying with the region English, Portuguese and Spanish-speaking Africa (EPSA) along with Michael El Daba, Lausanne Regional Director for the Middle East and North Africa, and Stephen Mbogo, Lausanne Regional Director for EPSA. The call will consist of an update from each region, prayers, Bible readings, written liturgy, and breakout sessions for extemporary prayer.

The regional prayer calls are being held between 18-29 May, which fall in the period between Christ’s Ascension and Pentecost on the church calendar. Our current global moment shares many uncertainties with that time! Alongside the original apostles, we too are expectant, wondering, and fearful as we wait to see how our Lord will move and guide.
