Lausanne Canada in partnership with TIM Centre and People’s Church will be hosting a gathering called ‘Refocus: Effective Engagement in Global Mission’ on 11 March 2015. This gathering will be joined by 50-60 leaders in mission from the greater Toronto area.
Ron Burdock, Director of Global Outreach for North Park Community Church, London, Ontario, will speak about an innovative outreach initiative in Tibet. Sam Chaise, Executive Director, and Jennifer Lau, Director of Global Discipleship, of Canadian Baptist Ministries will offer a perspective for denominational engagement in global mission. A panel discussion will be led by Bob Morris, Interim Director of Interserve; and John Franklin, Chair of Lausanne Canada and host of this gathering, will speak on The Cape Town Commitment.
