E. D. Burns is Director of the MA in Global Leadership program at Western Seminary, where he also directs The Judson Center. He serves as President of Great Commission Alaska, a discipleship and leader-training ministry to Natives in Bush Alaska. He, his wife, and their twin sons have been long-term missionaries in the Middle East, East Asia, and most recently in Southeast Asia, where he teaches at Asia Biblical Theological Seminary. He is an adjunct professor at seminaries around the world. E. D. holds degrees from Moody Bible Institute (BA), Wheaton College (MA), Western Seminary (MDiv), and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (PhD). When he and his family are not in Bush Alaska, they call Southeast Asia home.
